Is this the silver rate I will pay?

What is not included in the silver rate?

How are silver articles priced?
Silver articles such as deepas, kumkum boxes, plates and anklets are sold by weight: the weight in grams times the day's rate, plus a making charge and GST.
Why does the silver rate change?
It follows the international silver price, which moves while world markets are trading, and the value of the rupee against the dollar. Import duty and local demand also feed into what silver costs in India. When world markets are closed, the rate stays at the last price.
